The life death and resurrection of Jesus Christ has transformed my life.

Through out my life God has pursued me and convicted me of my own rebellious and selfish nature. God has revealed Himself to me through reading and studying the Bible, relationship fellow Christ followers, talking and listening with God, and through the gifts of Holy Spirit. I am walking out my salvation and my rebellious and selfish nature is always at war with in myself. God is faithful and as long as I draw breath He is working to transform me into a mini version of Himself. He has become my King, my Lord, my teacher, and my friend. Despite the evil we see all around us I am convinced that He is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving our iniquity and transgressions but yet completing just in holding us accountable for our evil actions. I am also convinced that we are all part of an epic physically unseen war. We are all created in Gods image but there is a war for our minds and souls. We each have a choice to admit our own selfish rebellious nature and turn to Christ or to continue to be deceived by the accuser and chief liar that wants you to rule your own life and think that you yourself are God or that you are unworthy of Gods love. I have decided to follow Jesus and live my life for the King.

I grew up attending an Evangelical American church in Oregon with my Family. Born in Albany Oregon and went to public school in Jefferson Oregon, Class of 94. I wanted to be a pilot for a career and went to Hesston College in Kansas. I returned to Oregon and was working as a flight instructor and finished my Bachelors degree in Fine Art. At age 22 I got a great job as a pilot in Kodiak Alaska at Island Air. During that time Jesus became Lord of my life and supernaturally spoke to me through reading the Bible. I read the entire Bible in about 45 days and it was as if God himself was sitting there reading it to me, pouring out the Truth to my mind. I then heard about Wycliffe Bible Translators and the need for the Bible in the heart language of all people. When I heard that thousands of languages and millions of people could not have the experience that I had just had I wept. I felt what seemed like a giant finger on my chest and I heard the King say “that is what I want you to do”. After completing my verbal contract with Island Air I returned to Oregon to get my Aviation mechanics licenses so that I could serve the biblically impoverished people through access to remote areas with airplanes. I was then Blessed with the best Wife and 3 amazing children.

I served as a missionary pilot for 11 years in Papua Indonesia. This was done through partnerships with Wycliffe Bible Translators, JAARS, and YAJASI. In 2020 We felt led to return to the USA and move to Spokane Washington to assist at Moody Aviation. I was then led to inherit Legacy Builders Ministries, a 501-3c non-profit and the vision for Give 99 was born.
